Worst job you have ever had? car hop when I was 15.
What job would you pay NOT to have? babysitter.
Guilty Pleasure: dark semi-sweet chocolate.

If you HAD to spend $1,000 on YOURSELF, how would you spend it? put most in the bank, and take Diane and the kids camping ;).
Favorite thing about your house? over half paid for.
Least favorite thing about your house? the windows in front, are 6ft tall and 3 ft wide. and theres 4 of them.
One thing you are good at? cooking for large crowds.
If you could change something about your circumstances, what would you change? I'd pay off our house and get new windows.
Who would you like to meet someday? The good lord.
What makes you feel sexy? A certain look in my husbands eyes...It always caught me off-guard.
Who is your real life hero? Our lovely Mom.
What is the hardest part of your job? Trying to explain to a 12 year old that cleaning house and cooking IS a job!!!
When are you most relaxed? Just before going to bed and the house is quite.
What stresses you out? Loud tv's or all of them going at one time, or large crowded rooms.
What can you not live without? love from my family.
Do you agree or disagree with the recent article that reported that blogs are authored by narcissists? First I had to look up the meaning of narcissist. I think some people looking for bovine fertilizer and maybe they did find some... But I blog to keep in touch with family and friends.

Good job, Sis. I sure would like to go camping, but not until it cools off some. Plus I sure don't want that last camping spot we had out in the hot boiling sun!
Cooking squash, fried taters and some of that corn you brought me for supper, then going to church for the last night of VBS. It's family night.

Good answers!! Alot of mine would be the same...I would put fresh garden tomatoes and cottage cheese above seafood though...but I do like seafood. I feel the same way about fishing and plan to get out there next week for sure. I LOVE to fish! My second son..in CAlif...called to tell me about the 8 lb. bass he caught today in a local lake. Man!!! I wish I were there!

You asked if I am going to have the baby at home. The answer is yes, although my husband and I are being pretty quiet about that plan since it's not often met with support. What prompted you to ask? It's not a question I've gotten very often.

I think it's really neat that you are so interested in homebirth. If you don't mind my asking, what is the midwife blog you read? I would love to find a good midwife blog to read. Although my husband and I have made this decision because we feel it is right for us, it is always good to find other kinds of support. It's still such a unusual decision. I haven't been met with too much negativity, but I think that's because we're being so private about it. Our families know, as well as a few close friends, but that's it. When people we don't know well ask where we'll have the baby, we just say we're still deciding.
And yes, I will certainly breastfeed! I know for some women it is just not possible, but I know it is best for the baby.

I loved the post where she talks about fathers being in the delivery room and she says something like, "What did my husband do for me when I was in labor? Well, he irritated me." Hilarious!
